Successful Ceremony for Transformer Shipment of Hyundai-CEEG Saudi Project

On the morning of March 18, the grand ceremony for the transformer shipment of the Hyundai-CEEG Saudi project was held at CEEG's Yangzhong factory. Attendees included Yangzhong Mayor Li Lijun, Chen Shunzhi (Member of the Standing Committee of the Yangzhong Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Economic Development Zone), Zhong Bin (Director of the Economic Development Zone Management Committee), representatives from Hyundai, Saudi project supervisors, CEEG Chairman and CEO Dr. Lu Han, and Director Guo Hongjian, among other dignitaries. Together, they witnessed a landmark moment for "Chinese smart manufacturing" under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Government-Enterprise Collaboration: Charting a Blueprint for Open Cooperation

Chen Shunzhi (Yangzhong Municipal Committee):

Representing the Economic Development Zone, Chen extended congratulations and highlighted this partnership as a model for local enterprises "going global." He praised CEEG for leveraging technological prowess to penetrate international markets, emphasizing, "In the tide of global energy transformation, only by embracing openness can we break through barriers". The Economic Development Zone pledged to optimize the business environment to support more enterprises in collaborative expansion.

Hyundai Representative:

Reflecting on trust-building, the Hyundai spokesperson noted, "From technical alignment to delivery, CEEG's professionalism and execution solidified our confidence." Hyundai committed to deepening collaboration with CEEG across sectors under the principles of "expertise, innovation, partnership, and win-win".

Dr. Lu Han (CEEG Chairman and CEO):

Dr. Lu vowed to ensure high-quality fulfillment of the Saudi project while accelerating follow-up initiatives. He outlined plans to strengthen global partnerships, expand overseas teams in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America, and provide end-to-end customized services—from R&D to localized supply chain integration

Mayor Li Lijun's Three Expectations:

1. Innovation-Driven Leadership: Urged CEEG to deepen R&D, accelerate global branding, and transform innovation into a "maximum increment" for high-quality development.

2. Collaborative Expansion: Advocated leveraging the Saudi project as a template to explore Belt and Road markets (e.g., Middle East, Southeast Asia) and integrate Hyundai's sales networks with Yangzhong's electrical industry cluster for "technology + market" synergy.

3.Service-Oriented Governance: Promised full-cycle policy support, streamlined administration, and a world-class business ecosystem to empower project implementation.

Riding the Tide: Toward an Energy Transition Future

The ceremony marked both a contractual milestone and a new chapter in win-win collaboration. CEEG aims to solidify its global presence through "timely delivery" and "full lifecycle services," positioning itself as the premier choice for international clients. This partnership exemplifies how Chinese smart manufacturing can illuminate the Belt and Road narrative, driving energy transformation worldwide.
