Our company's current SG(B) series main product models include SG(B)10, SG(B)11, SGZB, SGRB, SCRB, etc. The product voltage levels mainly range from 6kV, 10kV, 20kV-10kV interchangeable, to 35kV.

Introduction

The SG10 series adopts the DuPont NOMEX® paper-based insulation system, which maintains excellent electrical and mechanical performance throughout the entire lifespan of the transformer. NOMEX® is resistant to aging, shrinking, and compression, ensuring tight coil structures and the ability to withstand short-circuit pressures throughout the transformer's lifespan.

Features

Applications

Most suitable for use in environments with high fire protection requirements, large load fluctuations, and harsh conditions such as pollution and humidity. Including airports, subways, power plants, metallurgy, hospitals, high-rise buildings, shopping centers, residential areas, petrochemicals, nuclear power, and nuclear submarines, among other critical locations.

Overload Solution:

1. The 120% load capacity of SG(B) series transformers is achieved without fans. With the addition of fans, the short-term overload capacity can exceed 50%. We do not recommend prolonged operation at overload conditions. However, it indicates that SG10 products can provide additional load during emergencies. Additionally, it demonstrates that the product has a long enough lifespan under rated load conditions, reducing investment costs in the long run.

2. Class H (220°C) insulation materials are used to produce Class H (180°C) products, which are far superior to old-style epoxy products (made with Class F (155°C) materials without overload margin).

3. Its ample overload space can withstand large electric field shocks, ensuring a stable power supply. This makes it a reliable device for places with unstable electric fields, industries with high overload demands, and industries with high requirements for stable power supply, such as the glass industry, steel industry, automobile manufacturing, commercial buildings, microelectronics industry, cement industry, water treatment and pumping stations, petrochemicals, hospitals, and data centers.

Environmental Protection Solution:

1. Recyclable

After the end of the service life of SG(B) series transformers, copper wires can be recycled by peeling off NOMEX®. Epoxy casting products are solidified, making separating the resin from copper wires impossible, resulting in ineffective recycling or high recycling costs. NOMEX® is a biodegradable material, and disposal methods include burial or incineration, which do not cause soil or air pollution. In contrast, the burning or burial costs of epoxy resin are high, and it causes significant pollution to both air and soil.

2. Low Noise

SG(B) transformers use a VPI vacuum immersion paint process, high magnetic conductivity silicon steel sheets for the iron core, and silicone rubber sheets for cushioning and noise reduction between coils and structural components, resulting in noise levels far below national standards. Additionally, SG(B) series transformers can operate without fans, reducing noise sources.

Protection Solution

Compliance with three special tests of European standard HD464

1. F1 Fire Resistance Test: The transformer prototype is burned in a specific environment, and after a specified time, the smoke transparency, heat release, and toxic gas emissions are measured. Standard requirements: After 28 minutes, smoke transparency >20%, and no toxic gases. The test results of SG(B) series products show smoke transparency >92.5% after 28 minutes and no harmful gas emissions, meeting and surpassing F1 standards, and obtaining F1 level certification.

2. E2 Environmental Test includes condensation and penetration tests, testing the transformer's ability to withstand condensation, salt spray, humidity, and other harsh environments.

3. C2 Climate Test: Tests the transformer's ability to adapt to various climates and withstand thermal shocks. SG(B) series products produced by our company have passed the C2 level (-25°C) climate test specified in IEC standards. To further assess the low-temperature and thermal shock resistance of SG(B) series products, ultra-low temperature tests at -45°C and thermal shock tests were conducted.

CEEG Project Cases.png1. Shanghai F1 International Circuit Project

The Shanghai F1 International Circuit project purchased two batches of CEEG SG1010 dry-type transformers in 2006. The operation effect has been excellent, effectively ensuring the successful completion of this world-renowned international event.

2. National Olympic Sports Center Comprehensive Training Hall

Multiple units of CEEG SG10-800/10 oil-immersed transformers were procured for the National Olympic Sports Center Comprehensive Training Hall project. Technical experts highly recognize the CEEG brand, and they are delighted with the operational performance of the products, especially appreciating the noise control technology and NOMEX® insulation technology.

3. Xiaolangdi Dam

The Xiaolangdi Dam Project on the Yellow River selected CEEG's NOMEX® paper insulation series of non-encapsulated dry-type transformers developed and produced in cooperation with DuPont of the United States, as well as the SG10 air self-cooling series and SCB10 air-cooling series dry-type transformers.

4. Capital International Airport

Beijing Capital International Airport is China's most important, largest, most well-equipped, and busiest international airport. The project during construction utilized CEEG's SG10-400/10 and SG10-500/10 dry-type power transformers.

5. Runyang Bridge

Runyang Bridge has extremely high requirements for selecting power equipment such as transformers. CEEG provided 8 units of SG10 series dry-type transformers and one buried box-type substation, which have received widespread praise from the owner for their excellent quality environmental protection, and energy-saving characteristics.

6. Beijing Municipal Administrative Center

The Beijing Sub-center project utilizes CEEG SG(B) series non-encapsulated dry-type transformers.

7. Beijing Chang'an Street lighting project

CEEG's SG10 1250KVA dry-type transformer was ultimately selected for the Beijing Chang'an Street lighting project. After years of operation, the client considers the equipment stable, compact, aesthetically pleasing, low noise, and easy to maintain.

8. VPI transformer exported to the United States Project

The VPI transformer model is 13.8KV. 60Hz 1MVA will provide power transformation services for Mineral Technology's mobile ore crusher. The owners have recognized our transformers for their lightweight and ultra-low loss, and the VPI Nomex paper transformer products have been successfully exported to the US market.

CEEG Transformer Production Base covers an area of over 600 acres (40 hectares), with a total construction area of 180,000 square meters and a workforce of more than 1,200 workers.
